I've met a lot of people who were still studying in their 30's in Germany... and quite a few who started studying (at Masters level) in their 30's...

oh man, there was this intern at my old work that was 32. I felt bad for him, but i guess everyone needs to start from somewhere.
yeah, 25 is not too old, just make sure your work is solid, thats all that matters!

I've been working professionally since 21, when I got my AA.
Not the path for everyone but it worked for me. I think work experience is viewed highly, at least equal to, education

I'm 23. you all just made my day. I've floated around from program to program and I've got 3 years to go. Granted I'm in engineering now, but same deal. I'm envious of kids who get out of HS and know then and there what they want to do. Sometimes I feel like I should have taken the last 4 years off and been a nomad. I need to travel more. It's an invaluable and inspiring experience.

at 26 I already changed careers into do web stuff. And I was considered old for a designer. :(
I thin most start out at 21 or so. This industry don't have room for old people :(
