  How can you mount a CD on your hard drive? (I hope I worded this the right way and it makes sense)

  I suspect is done with disk utility but I don't know exactly how. I am on Panther, btw.

  what are you trying to do?

  you should just be able to double click on the .dmg file and it will mount.

  I want to make a dmg file or something out of a CD.
  I want to get the content of the cd but it's made in a way that I can't.

  Can you see where i'm going with this?
