Blah the endless battle, in the end, get whats best for you. For the work I do at home I use a PC, at my day job I use a PC along side a MAC, simply for compatibility issues and the ol' 'its the industry standard' that my workplace has fallen under for more than a decade.

as far as the unix operating system, blah. You act like you're unique to have it, don't forget nix machines were originally PCs. And people still run nix based platforms on PCs. Just cause you don't like MS, don't hate on the idea of PC.

Haha, our news dept. still does paste up with wax machines and amberlith and the whole bit. We're slowly weening them away, but their oldies who don't want to retire just yet.... makes the job fun.

OK KIDS!!! Here is the deal. dehryll was joking about getting a Dell. It was just supposed to be funny. We like Macs. I have no problem with PC's we just prefer Macs. But thats not the point. The point is we were goofing around. So abizzyman...thanks for the info. But we're Mac guys. This thread was not intended to be a Mac PC debate which I can't stand. So from this point forward I think the trusty "*" should be used to denote ........ SARCASM!!! so we can avoid this kind of silly bickering. Although don't get me wrong....it was funny.

if adobe, macromedia and all the other software is available for both platforms how is one or the other allowing anyone to do better work? It's not, and if you think it is, you are deluded.

Honestly, they probably didn't... They moaned about greater things. They embraced any failings in their tools as an opportunity to either invent new ones, or to charge their clients more. Haha. * yawn
