Anyone know any proper 1950's fonts, Im not just refering to 'retro' fonts.
I cant distinguish between 40's 50's 60's. They all look fifties to me.
Anyone?

actually that should be neue haas grotesk. it was renamed in 1960 to helvetica and thus technically not being a '50's typeface anymore :)

and before someone says cooper black: it's not a 50's typeface. cooper was designed in 1919. unbelievable yet true.

However, thankyou for your help peeps. I found one called creampuff that was perfect.
But if anyone has got a stash hiding away somewhere I will still be checking this thread for a while.

Just the mention of this font gets the font geeks moist and sweaty.
