really disliked your job, and your girlfriend lived hundreds of miles away, and she agreed to support you till you got a new one, would you quit!?
- jox0
Only if she really could support me, and didn't just say that out of love.

if it meant leaving and moving in with her......
- jox0
Then go for it! What's holding you back?

Money basically...I like having it...she's got a great job and own's a really nice house...if I couldn't find a job I'd just feel like a sponger...
hmmnn dunno..!? whadda reckon?
- geeque0
what are you waiting for? just do it!
- JEWUNIT0
only if you rub her feet after she comes from work and you gotta clean up the house, you basically have to be the wifey then
- jox0
Would you have offered her to move in if it was the other way around? And keep in mind, it's just temporarily - everybody likes having cash, and you'll feel a lot better knowing that your way of earning them is fun and challenging.

Go for it, mate!
witch city does she live in? Any good job options?
- rabattski0
dangeresque. possibly. i dunno if you have lived together before with her. but if you quit your job and are fully dependent on her (living as well as income) than it's really tricky. it really boils down to personalities. but this unequal situation and living together for the first time? you both most be 100% in love or forget it. it creates an unbalanced relationship. she has control over you. well it can be used as a way to control you. etc. so be carefull. then again, you can always move back.

you may just kill your relationship. but then again you might find a good new job quickly and all will be hunky dory and the flowers will bloom and the birds will sing and the butterflies will .. err.. fly and and .. and..
- pascii0
yes. if this means you come to basel - yes.

Good way of looking at it jox. If it were the other way round I would definitely let her live with me. We've known eachother for nearly ten years, and we started seeing eachother a year ago. It is serious, and everyone I've spoken to thinks I'd be daft not to. Life's too short I guess. There's plenty of design companies in her city too......
- rabattski0
life is too short indeed. if you feel comfortable about it then just do it.

thanks for being good listeners fellas.......

Aye laddy, do it. What´s teh worst that could happen? You could split up with her and be jobless. But then you could just come home and find a new job... which isn´t a big deal if you hate the one you have at the moment.

good point nessdog...
- armed_rob0

wow Save - serious stuff going on with you just now eh?
Go for it! You guys make such a nice couple :)
I think you would be mad not go for it. She's a nice lass and she obviously dotes on you or she wouldn't have offered to help you out until you got a new job. If you don't go for it you end up with 'what if?'
