OK. 2 days from site launch. huge custom content management system. E-commerce with 800 products. Hours and hours spent on copy, beautiful style sheets, preparing hundreds of photos for the site, translating content to English.
Then, this comes:
"I need the site up, but after the long delay in getting the site up, I wanted really wanted the site impressive. Believe me, I know nothing about websites, but I don't understand why the flash into is such a problem. At least 60% of the sites that you visit, especially retail, have some type of a flash intro.
Feel free to come over and hit me with a f*cking hammer. I'll email you directions.

Hmmm. I wonder if I can just outsource it and send 2A a 1099 form? I bet I could squeeze like $200 out of the client...

treat it like a banner ad; or place it in the layout where you have graphic elements; replace a .jpg with a .swf or something. i'll be damned if people don' just llike flash.
