i don't feel im being defensive, nor have i used inappropriate language, the rest of you have, so check yourselves, and ask yourself why you become so defensive when adbusters is discussed...is it because a few people are actually challenging what you've been conditioned to think is right?

they're totally right, turn your TV off because there wont be any adbusters spots anyways.
would be ironic if they could actually garner some airtime then it fell right on turn off the TV week.

ch-ch-ch-check yourself before you wreck yourself

neu, don't be so naive, it's almost convincing that you're just faking it

"i don't feel im being defensive, nor have i used inappropriate language, the rest of you have, so check yourselves"
That statement contradicts itself.

he should've thrown in a swear word, and it would've have been the mother of all contradictions

funny how you focus on the 1st half of my statement, but ignore the 2nd...

Wow.

Funny how you try to draw attention away from your feeble attempt at making a point.

Adbusters are a walking contradiction and have been proved so many times over. Agreed some of the stuff they do is excellent, but many of their campaigns are questionable to say the least. I mean would you purchase a 'buy nothing day' calendar? And of course these networks don't want to air their adverts, why would a television network want to show an 'anti-tv' ad'? Absolutely ridiculous.

it's a pretty good attempt at provoking people to think differently. it's quite leftist, however their intent is good. we often do find ourselves sitting in front of a tv, or a computer for excessive amounts of time. we also neglect supporting the small local market in place of large corporate labels. you have to look at the big picture. anyone who slams adbusters is essentially slamming a different way of thinking about things, and that's ignorant.

Lol, 'Ignorant' is name calling on a public forum. Although I do agree with you on the first bit. ;)
