hoorah... the insurance finally paid up for my lost iPod, so got my new one yesterday, twice as big as the old one and got some creature speakers too... v. nice...

there really isnt much true advantage besides having the ipod lay on your desk and scratching it up without the dock... and the cord just looks messy. It also looks sexy sitting in it. And it is easier than un clipping the cord always.... but thats about it..

Not really.... it comes with the 20 and 40 gig anyway.

I am a music lover- I can caring 4,000 songs with me everywhere I go- and yes I pay for those expensive songs (99 cents) that cost me less than a bottle of water. A great tune that I own for LIFE is worth a dollar to me. Sure it would be great if my all time favorite songs were cheaper than a car air freshener- stop your crying... buy your MD's and cheapo players- steal your music and shut up...

the dock has a rca out which means that you can connect it to your external stereo and have clean audio..... it rocks
