Why do clients automatically think they get a logo with a website?

coz they come to you with such horrible graphic materials and you start thinking: "i can't make anything with this... it's horrible.. and the money stinks too... i should at least be able to put it in my portfolio... i'll just make a quick sketch of a logo so i can work with it..." so they get the logo... and the next guy they work with is fucked too... it's a catch 22 i tell ya
