I'm on osx and can't get some .asf files to play... when I launch a file, it opens the Windows Media PLayer but then automatically launches my browser and this webpage:

try:
1- open WMP, use the file-open menu instead of double clicking.
2- change extension 2 .wmvif nothing work, sometimes WMF are created using codecs not supported on the mac. also, try VLC media player, so a search @ www.macupdate.com

or even eaiser.
download "VLC" and it will open any .asf or pc format video perfectly ;)
