Playing .AVI on Mac's

  I have to miss out on episodes of The Simpsons, Family Guy, and Futurama because I can't figure out how to get .AVI files to work. Let me in on the secret. QT keeps saying it can't understand the file, or, only audio will play - no video.

  possibly encoded with dvix? if so grab the divx codec for mac. or try playing them with the VLC player. it'll play just about anything.
