need some help exporting some video to tape. im using adobe premier pro, and i just bought a firewire PCI card. when i go to print it to tape, the screen says it's recording, the camera says it's recording, but it's not. the camera just shows its blue screen like there's no input, even though it says DV IN.
anyone know how to print to DV?!?!?!?!?!

not the best place to ask video questions...
every camera has a record button to record in camera mode and separate rec button to record in vcr mode. Use the second one.

this is a digital camera, there is no analog connection or analog data. i guess a better term for print to video would be "export to video".
DV = Digital Video
i have the camera in the right mode, i was thinking adobe was doing something but im not sure anymore because it will take video from the DV, but not vice-versa.

buy a mac and final cut pro no problems exporting video to my camcorder
