We'll never know...

    Quoted from cnn.com:

"Bush and Cheney did not testify before the panel -- they were not under oath and there was be no recording of the session, nor a stenographer in the room."

So, that's what they call democracy? We'll never know what they said, will we?

I know, there were already numerous threads on this horrible matter, but I never really participated (I'm still a NT-newbie).

Nevertheless I want to express my support to the US citizens who DON'T agree with those d*ckheads in the White House. I feel sorry for you people that you have to deal with an administration that creates a worldwide perception that the US pull the strings and the rest will obey.

As I am writing this, our national television news shows footage and pictures of some misbehaving soldiers in Iraq (US soldiers torture some nude Iraqi's while smiling at the camera).

So virtu, do I still have to support your troops??? And before you react: I'm not a liberal. I'm a socialist. Which is even worse.

I realize this complaint won't change a thing and most of you won't even read it.

But I have one advice for you, US citizens: think, think, think and think again on November 8th before you vote. Make the right decision. Because your vote also has an impact on my life. Sorry if the previous sentence may sound selfish but a second term for Bush is the end of the world as we know it.

    Thank you for your time.

StuBru, if you feel that way, then do something about it. Go to MoveOn.org and sign up.

I'm volunteering to raise money and get out the vote. Sponsoring a benefit concert...there's so much you can do besides coming to a design board and complaining. just do it! :)

Wow StuBru, I fully agree with you. I also started a thread about this today called "Aw!" but I went about it in kind of a dumb way. Anyways you voiced my opinions exactly! Thanks! :)

good quote from the bush-man about his meeting this morning, "If we had something to hide we wouldn't have met with them in the first place."

So if they had nothing to hide why was it not under oath and not recorded in any way?
