Are we ever gonna have any fucking serious topics or be able to answer someones serious topic with a serious and helpful answer.
We all need to step back and chiggity check ourselves and remember why some poeple come here - not to fart around and laugh at wendell or make lewd comments about tara | gee's boobs etc - but to get help.
We have a responsibility to teh design community and our patrons teh QBN to act in a responsible manner from time to time.

dudes, this place has been just like this for the last two years. i think your perceptions are a bit altered. at times the tomfoolery increases and it goes through it's ups and downs, but it's always been that way.

I think NT has become what Dreamless once was. Though, I DO miss Dreamless greatly (mainly for convienience) NT has provided me with some good thought and insight on various topics -design related and otherwise.
Sometimes you have to let off steam. I get sick of the childish posts too...but clearly they're made by those have nothing to say but simply want to remind everyone that they're still here.

I think I'm feeling this way because the past 2 times I have tried to start a serious post they just got hijacked by stupidity - the useit.com redesign one that just got pissed on, and the 'design is...' one...it's just like...at the time I really wanted a discussion on what design meant to people - what they got from it and it was all jsut stupid fucking answers like 'sticking my finger up my ass'. On any other day I might have laughed.....
