A co-worker of mine is desperately trying to convince me that Led Zepplin were a cover band. That someone else wrote and played all their music. Has anyone ever heard this before?
I know Robert plant pinched a few Robert Johnson songs, but someone else playing their music?

apparently your co-worker never got to see them live: he'd have realized that jamming, often mid-concert, was the spawn of many songs.

A lot of Page's riffs were straight from Robert Johnson. Travelling Riverside Blues etc. Same notes, just rocked out. Tis true.
