Actionscript color tween...

Anyone know of a good tutorial discussing how to create a smooth tween from one color to another via actionscript? Searched google and flashkit but didn't come up with anything. Here's an example of how I'd like it to work:

thanks auto, that's a bit more than what I was planning on doing, but it's a start.

it seems rather simple to do, conceptually... have color a, color b, get offset a->b for each channel, divide offset by tween length, increment, set, done...
play with it until it works. tutorials are boring.

yeah, that's what I'm doing now, just was wondering if there was simpler way to do it. I actually work with Misha's husband in Seattle. Thanks!

I'm sure it's more than what you need. Usually is. But, when I'm building a site or screensaver that will use multiple motion or color tweens, I insert Robert Penner's equations and they always work like a charm.
