yes, everything is taxed that invloves labor. my boss in Colorado in a small biz used to charge the rate, plus sales tax. he also wrote off all of his expenses, including driving around to client's for proofing and lunches. unless it's under the table, it's taxed.
if you are actually a registered small business they should have given you all of that info either at the patent office or elsewhere. that info shpould be available somwwhere, maybe the Baetter Business Bureau?
