im pretty new to flash and design in general, i have only gotten into it about a year ago, and am learning everything on my own..
this is a flash invite for my friends party which was last week..please be harsh if you want! thats what it takes to push myself!

Looks good. Great photos.
Maybe put a preloader. And fix this photo,
-- the left side edge doesn't look too good.
Also the typography is weird. I like the Bauhaus font -- using that on a recent site myself -- but it's used too much and doesn't work with the number "1" in "1 year". Increase the letterspacing too.
And I would make your name a link to your homepage.

I agree with everything previously said. My personal input would be this, all the photos in the checkered-squares look skewed/distorted to fit in their. The soundtrack doesn't match the pace/mood of the invite. The type is plastic and unbalanced, everything seems to be the same weight. But for a new to flash thing, I guess its OK. Sure people get the point from it........
