Yes, if you're a Reboot participant, post your holder here!
and BZZZP, although i'm all about vintage, i think you're missing the heart of us all looking the same for a week.
But, for those that are interested in the vintage reboot holder:

Every year they manage to cock this right up!! I finally thought this year would change things but I was wrong.
Half a meg for a place holder that could lose people clients etc as there is hardly any indication of what is going on if you use that holder.
Plus it's another advert holder like year 1, this time for mt.
COCK UP!!! :P

and till today no one has explained me what that whole 1st may reboot is about. yeah i read the txt but that txt doesn't make sense at all. it's all blah blah blah. no concept, it means nothing. pesonally i think it's useless.

i dont get it.

I hear you about the holder ad for MT. I got rid of it on mine - since i don't use MT, and the whopping 470k file is certainly not on their servers. I also was a bit caught off guard by their font choice for the site name... So i threw in our company logo there instead.
also, about the lack of evidence for what the whole deal is about... i added some indicators to the title and status bar to help that out. still vague, but i suppose that's what sparks the curiousity.
i haven't heard from anyone at the office yet. it'll be interesting to see what they think. i hope the powers that be don't pull us out of the reboot though.

and cy, if we got most of our clients from coming across our site and contacting us, then that might be true ... as it is, we have an ever increasing stream of clients roll in through referrals and simple networking. we make people money - and when we do that - people are happy and tell other people about us.
so the reality is, i don't believe we will lose any business due to the reboot holder.

the thing is, you may never know!
and... i should shut my big mouth.. cuz i have less then you on my site. ;)
- DutchBoy0
haha, yes that sucked, i already registered the company and then i found out it's already some big ass paint company in teh US.
oh well, dutchboy.info sounds swell as well, not?
ok, maybe not!!
fuck it.
- mrdobolina0
nah, its cool man. I was just jabbing at ya!
- xrusos0
not to mention, that i included a mailto link on the holder page (over the logo) to make certain someone who needs to get in touch can do so.
- rabattski0
and how about a "god, not another may 1st rebooter" reaction to that?

And, mine, http://dekkostudios.com/ , validates as XHTML 1.0 Strict, CSS 2, and is Section 508-compliant ;)

You guys take things way too seriously.
"OH IM GONNA LOSE CLIENTS OVER THIS BOO HOO HOO HOOOO."
If you're that worried about it, don't do it. It's supposed to be a fun yearly thing where people get creative and then on May 1 we all have lots of new things to look at. It's not like you won't go check it out on May 1 and see what people did.
So relax.
Why's that so hard to understand?
