ad2 inc. has an immediate opening for an interactive developer with proven experience using Macromedia Flash for web site and CD-Rom development. The candidate's primary responsibilities will be building out interactivity for designs that are already established. The ideal candidate will be very comfortable writing code from scratch or editing pre-existing code. They will also be asked to complete other production duties including image editing, file conversion, and CD burning along with testing and maintenance of interactive content. Ability to extend a established design and page layouts will be very important.
We are looking for a highly motivated and well-organized interactive developer to provide support to our art department with Web site and CD-ROM production and quality control. This person pays attention to detail and is able to produce a polished product.
Applicant must have a extensive experience in Flash with good working knowledge of the ActionScript language. Knowledge of object-oriented programming techniques would be a plus. Must be able to efficiently take Photoshop comps and cut/program into flash for both CD and Web. PC proficient with knowledge of Mac. Fluency with Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash MX, hand coded HTML and audio/video file editing is a must. Experience with server side scripting languages including ASP, VB or Perl along with relational database management would be a great asset. Any other relevant Web technologies are definitely a plus.
Required are at least 3 URLs and samples of ActionScript code which demonstrate the skills listed above. Salary commensurate on skills and experience.
