None of them read as a "Q" to me.

same here.
maybe if the logo accompanied the text q studios one would work.

Good suggestion, or maybe focus the next round of sketches on were the "O" and the leg stroke conjoin. That may help a little as well.

I dont like any, at all. What is Q Studios? What do they do? How is a picture of a Q going to make me associate it with Q Studios?

This logo would have text with it : Q Studios Inc.
But we were looking for something that was more of an icon then just a letter Q

I like #1 - if you lose the black box and keep the 'q' shape instead.
I would be concerned that #1 - as is - the white 'q' would show up as a hiccup or printing mistake on a format as small as a bidniss card.
I think if you keep just that white 'q' it would be a versatile logo mark.

Maaaaaaaaaaybe number 3. Maybe. The rest aren't even acceptable.
None of this says anything about your business though.

I dont know how well it could come out in a smaller format, but maybe a half pixelated q and half clear q. THROW US SOME TEXT SIR!

can you honestly say any of those are strong?
- umhello0
search for the card crit topic, that is a good example of excellent color usage. Does Q Studios have a logo already that we could see? Perhaps a web site link?

1st thing that stands out are QSI not just Q. Try looking up the words that you provide serveces for in the thesaurus and write down the ideas and images that come to mind. Your logo has to convey a sense of what it stands for. An example is for quarks logo. Its simple not the best visually, but it does speak volumes in just the logo. It says exactly what it is. Now imagine if it was just a "Q".
