i'm back - sorry for slow reply
so my mum was getting a punnet of strawberries.
the berries were loose.
he took a hand ful out of the punnet and was keeping them for himself. skimming off the top essentially.thank you all so much for the laughs - that made me feel much better about stupid grocers (in north london)

to clarify the punnet was open. the berries were loose in it.
it was ten years ago!!!!!!!

is a punnet a unit of measure of some kind?
- Mimio0
It's Brit-speak for an enema.

why would you even want to go to that grocer then? much less your mom?
- ********0
maybe he's too lazy to walk far, like me hehe

a punnet - it a small open top plastic basket berries come in
i know i know i should never have gone in again - but the berries were cheap and we thought after ten years £1 on strawberries wasn't too much to spend on the bastards.
But never again trust me - i'm thinking of a street hate campaign

suppose they were these grapes?

i think the grocer wants your mum.
he wants to eat strawberries off of her

hey that's my mum - you cant talk about her like that!!
though obviously she is a very stylish mum (it runs in the family)

hmm.....she caught him stealing and they threw her out? Now if that isnt some ass-ackwards shit i dont know what is. When i was younger i used to steal my lunch from the local supermarket...i would have laughed if the security guard that caught me had been kicked out for catching me. :))

RE: those grapes
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Karma is a great thing. Thats what she gets for cheating nd not washing her feet first.
p.s. is it me or did those archorpeople look like they were gonna start laughing like i was?
- _salisae_0
i don't mean any disrespect toward your mother. but come on - he tried to steal her fruit - she said no - so she got the boot.
sounds like the grocer is frustrated.

yup i think you're right - feel much better about getting thrown out of the grocers now. Blow them.
Will be going to the local turkish grocers like i normally do, who are lovely.
