OK. Quick question. Lets say I'm capturing about 33 mins of footage into FCP from my VX2000, via firewire. My capture goes great, my save too, but when I open my footage in the time line, the audio is then shit. Its all off sync with my footage. Looks like bad voice over work, actually, by the end of the clip, my audio is about 20-30 secs off the footage. Somebody please help me and stop the possable murdering of yet another innoccent G4.
I am on FCP 3 on a 867 G4 Quicksilver, running 9.2.2
Thanks in advance.

99% of the time these means you have a break in your timecode somewhere.. but this can happen to unbroken timecode as well esp. capturing long clips like that.. you really should capture in smaller chunks and you will avoid this problem all together

This is a documented prob with fcp, though broken timecode could be a factor, though it would have stopped you with an alert if detected, for me i always capture clips, but if you want a whole chunk, use capture now
