Consciousness Industries

  Jeas this is hard.. I've got a film studies essay to do (damn compulsory extra courses) and I'm trying to choose one of a horrific bunch of titles.. One of them concerns "the paradigm of 'the conciousness industries'" I was just wondering if anyway had any thoughts on film makers and the media "the conciousness industries"..

  I have a good few ideas myself but its all a bit vague and I'm doubting if I'm actually on the right line at all..

  I know this isn't a very lighthearted msg, but a bit of intellectuality (new word!) is good from time to time..
