I'm gonna be moving out there real soon. Living in Missouri right now.
I'm excited and worried. Hopefully I can find a design related job out there. Even though I have a Bachelors in IT, and not fine arts :(

DirbikePhil. One thing Ive learned is it doesnt matter what Background you have... its what your portfolio shows and your work ethic and personability. Dont worry so much about your background. Worry more that you have Experience and a Solid Portfolio.

Been here for 2.5 years and never heard of it...So, only 3 people from NT actually live in SF?
Im just thinking that it would be cool to meet one day and... do something? :)
I rarely hear of any designers gettogethers in SF..

and there's a ton of bay area NT'ers. qburt is one off the top of my head. search PVN for "bay area" and you'll get a decent idea of who's around.
also, any of the NYC vs. SF threads (there's like 20 of them) will bring the bay area crew to the surface.
