just saw part 2. way better than part 1 imo, with better dialogue and humor.
but it still left me kinda cold. i understand he wants to do his little masturbatory fantasy homage to hong kong action movies, but i'm just not buying uma and darryl hanna & co. they're nowhere near jet li or michelle yeoh. valiant effort, tho.

I saw Vol. 2 yesterday, it was entertaining, but not as good as Vol. 1. Although Vol. 2 has some interesting characters, like Pai Mei, the titty bar owner and the Mexican pimp.
The whole scene with Pai Mei was awesome, I wish it was longer.What's Samuel L. Jackson doing in this movie? His character Roofus has only a couple of lines.
Also, what's up with all those Uma Thurman foot shots? Does Quentin have a foot fetish?

the excessive foot shots were a marketing thing for asics footwear.
the l.a. weekly ads for kill bill have a huge byline- "featuring asic's new tiger shoe" or whatever.
and here we thought tarantino was above that.

I wish Q and U would fuck and get it over with, we were robbed, the second movie doesn't compare to the first at all, this one did have great dialogue but you need more than great dialogue to drive a movie. The ending was okay, but it wasn't a surprise for fucks sake, Bill said does she know about the girl at the end of the first, I was dissappointed and I felt gagged I wish it was just one film with that said. I want gogo to have my baby and the part where U plucks out Elle Drivers eye was great...c'mon she was screaming "give it back"...hilarious!

Saw it, it was definitely entertaining...surprised it wasn't as bloody as the first.
I like the way the storyline took over this time though...just don't understand how there could be a third part...but we are talking about QT, here.

i find it funny that most of you forget this was shot as one movie and then cut into 2 for time. therefore, it doesn't make much sense to compare them against each other. it's always nice to see the people who understand it's an homage and catch the movies he references, though. far too many ignorant people saw this movie.
