I bought indesign for a quick rush job, well, the version I bought was 3.0. Is it possible to save it back to 2.0?
Am I blind and can't see it :)

Nope. It's not possible.

Typographica is right, it's the only thing that suck about indesigncs

You couldn't save back from InDesign 2 either. The documents are just too different with each upgrade. These are not like Illie docs.

you're guys are all wrong. You can save back to 2.0 sort of. You export as an InDesign interchange file. Then you can open in a legacy version IF the old version has 2 additional plug ins installed. I can't remember the names of them right now. But you can pull em from the adobe site.

I'm giving you the current line from Adobe's tech support forums. They initially tried to make it possible, but found it too complex and dropped support.
So yes, it could be possible, but I haven't met anyone who's done it. I'd love to hear if you have.

I got it to work but it was a very simple document so that may have something to do with it. Who knows. Worth a shot though.
