Interesting.

In the Atlas section if you click on Scotland you get 'Scottish English'... fair enough. If you click on England you get 'British English'?! (Britain is a vague land mass including Scotland, Wales and countless islands) And you click on the USA and you get just 'English'!!!
English is named so for a very simple and obvious reason, I don't need to explain of course. (I hope)
Soon, England will just be a hazy memory, re-enacted with cheap fibreglass Disneyland 'authenticity' where the hero can only be American and all other proper ;) English is dubbed and subtitled.
US education should know better.
No excuses. No arguments.
Truth.

Ha ha ha! Good points. Well, you know... Many years ago people thought the Earth was the center of the Universe. Nowadays some americans think they're the center of the Earth. Before Elvis there was nothing, same applies to the land of the free, home of the brave...

Thinking about it. I wonder what the answer is if a US kid asks the parents why their language is called English and not American?
'We-all sawn... um... I doe reeally know?'

The computer industry has made US-english quite a standard over international-english which is really annoying for the rest of the world.
