Click through the main navigation.
How do you achieve the effect of the images "burning" in and out like they do.(sorry, that's the only way I know how to describe it.)

It's a Tint Color Effect tween, done as a timelined tween.

Yea, and you can also go into color:Advance and work with the RGB settings in there (most red/green to get what you looking for)

Can anyone post .fla or explain to me a little better how this is done? I have messed with the tint and advanced settings, but I can't seem to to accomplish my disired effect.
I am not being lazy... I have done much trial and error, but it isn't clicking yet.
Thanks

pretty pleeeeze

there has got to be more to this type of transition than a simple tween? no?

Upfront-apologeeeeze for being annoying, but I have no other choice...

most folks around here are much more AS savy than I am, so this probably isn't the best approach.
open the original photo in photoshop, adjust the photo (levels, etc.) to get that washed out effect.
in flash you have the washed out photo on top of the orig. photo, with the washedout version alpha=0. during the transition tween the alpha up to 100% on the washed out version.
i used a similar approach, but i used a blurred version of the orignal photo.

click down until you have a list of items, then toggle between items to see what i mean.

thanks for taking the time to look!
I suppose this would be easy to accomplish in AE, eh?

pretty easy in flash too.
go to the beginning of a tween of an image and adjust the 'advanced' settings to that the sliders are all the way to the top (all 4)you can also do it with actionscript if you want as well.
