I saw this on PBS and really wanted to know how they made the image jiggle?!?>...its so cool...any flash experts know???

they're either using another image... or facilitating the bug in flash where if you move a vector over certain types of image they distort/pixel shift slightly

or more likely for the more obvious ones they are using the same image masked over the top and stretching/squashing it slightly

its just so well done...so is it a mask with same image stretched?...or photoshopped images animating?...its just that jiggle action is so smooth and jiggly! i guess im gonna try both ways and find out...

forgive me but i don't think it's that great...
the circular speaker image in SP001 has a 'cross fault', where pixels form a line cos' they are near the edge of the canvas.
the so called jiggle is just two or three images overlaid on one another, showing or not showing according to the beat that's all.

as for the human jiggle, just overlay a strategically smudged image.

I think they used Flint And Flame machines. Then exported the hole lot out in after effect and then into flash.

they asked permission first. then they prepared the walls etc. to put the speakers in, then connecting them to a solid amplifier/stereoset, and then film it, then import into flash!
IT IS ALL SO-OO SIMPLE!!

of course they have to use equally horizontal scratched speakers.
of course they had to ask three very random passerbys to freeze halfway thru walking and not to mention one of them having her right swinger thump to the beat.
