How semi pro are we talking? Ulead makes a good video program for under $100. And you can pick up sony vegas for a bit more.

arhm I just dont wanna run adobe premiere... its complicated right?how does them Ulead & sony programs run?

Avid seems to be good, for PC.
I prefer a Mac with Final Cut though.

adobe premier pro isnt hard to use at all. if you know how to use photoshop it's a breeze.

forget about Premiere, too much of a learning curve for you if you don't know other Adobe apps. Go with Sonic Foundry's or now Sony Media Software's Vegas Video Pro: http://mediasoftware.sonypicture… so easy to use and relatively cheap compared to that of Premiere. :)

to be honest with you, you could even use Sony's Acid Pro or Sound Forge, both have the capability of importing video/graphics these days and are super easy to use with maximum control and effects.

hey i am using Photoshop, illustator and even inDesign so i am into Adobe... but I was told that Premiere was so complex - and thats not what im going 4!
Thanx I will look at the Sony link...
