Lucid Dreams

anyone ever experience them?
I had one once, I woke up and my bed was in the espresso shop I worked in, I thought, "I'm in a dream". from there on out, I could do anything I wanted and I was conscious of it. Unfourtinately it didn't last long.
The movie waking life was good too.

Aren't there devices like goggles that are supposed to help induce them?

I just had a lucid dream. I have them when I'm really tired and I eat dessert before going to sleep.
My subconscious is just plain evil.

Never had one, but i did a uni project on the very same subject! Apparently it is possible to train yourself to dream about certain things, even creative solutions, or, laydeezz!!

There are some pretty simple tricks for encreasing the possibility to have lucid dreams. I wrote them down once. It's about training yourself to recognise a dream when you're in one. I'll look it up.

I regularly have lucid dreams, there's a fine line to tread inorder to control your dreams without arousing too much 'stimulation' which will wake you up, ie; you cant be too forceful but you have to kind of tease your mind into the direction you want to go. I've heard that MSG can help induce lucid dreams, not sure about that tho. I also get this wierd thing occassionaly whereby if I lie looking up to the ceiling as I'm about to go to sleep I get this kind of blackness wash over me infront of my eyes and then it kind of swirls around and forms faces, I mean loads of faces, they just kind of show up for a second and then drift away to be replaced by another. thing is, I have to 'not look' otherwise they disappear, its a little like those 3d hidden picture things where you just have to gaze without focussing.. its wierd and slightly disturbing at the same time.

Don't worry rasko4, this has nothing to do with lucid dreams. Relax. It's just some lost souls banned from the highway of the dead visiting you. No biggie.
