The FCC's actions pertaining to the Howard Stern Show are incomprehensible and defy the nature of the 1st Amendment.
I am a 22 year old male, "Swing" Voter, and were it not for the execution of fines brought against Howard Stern , most likely I would not have voted.
Unfortunately the choices for presidency aren't the greatest
ever...but I will never support fundamentalist, "religous right" views.Seriously guys this is gonna hit home very soon...it's not just HS. HBO/Cable is next.
Please write FCC chairman Michael Powell and tell him to stop. At least don't support Bush.

It takes Howard Stern to get your voting attention??
hhmm...whatever works, I guess.

It takes someone denying an entertainer I enjoy listening to his right to free speach to get my voting attention.

much more important than billions of wasted tax dollars fighting a war that costs thousaands of lives, eh?

Instead of you dissecting my motivations, how about you go preach to the OVERWHEMLING MAJORITY of guys my age who *will not vote*?
I've already established the fact that I will be voting this year.

like voting itself is such a great virtue.
not voting is not good because it means people are civically apathetic. You're not voting because you actually care bout your community, but because you want to hear Howard Stern. how is that respectable?

Dude are you kidding me?
I'm voting to protect the 1st Amendment.
Howard Stern is a great entertainer, a historical figure in radio...but my life will surely go on without him.
The way I like to live my life, the way you and everyone else lives their lives will forever change if the First Amendment is not protected.
I care about my community, and I want anyone who wants to listen to Howard Stern, to be able to. Because this has nothing to do with Howard Stern...that's what I'm saying. This is just the beggining.
If you don't protect him you protect no one.
