I am interested in learning how to build a client FTP, for uploads and downloads. Any links to tutorials?
Thanks!

you mean a Client Extranet?

you basically giving a client external access to an area where work is uploading by both you and him? the first place I would look is .NET. Unless of course you want to buy into some pre-designed package?

Yes, I mean a place where a client can have access to a folder where files can be transfered between us. What do you mean by .NET.?

I mean .NET he ehee. :) No I know what you mean. Your looking for an Extranet then. You could also call that a Client Sign in area or whatever. do a search here on that stuff. It's been brought up a lot. let me try and bump it for you

You can build a VPN with a small firewall box. I do it all the time at work. You use 2 firewall boxes (like Netscreen 5XP), and set up a VPN connection to another network with a VPN-enabled firewall, so you have direct access to that external computer's IP address.
