How do you make color separated files in Photoshop. If it varies from flat images and layered images, could you please tell me how to do both? Thank you very much.

I'd print to separations in a PDF if I was you, otherwise you could copy each specific color sep from the channels pallette into a new file.

pretty sure your image needs to be flattened.
there might be an easier way but here is one.
so open up your channels palette and turn off all the colors cept the one you want, select all, copy, paste in new doc and save as the color. they should all look greyscale
