i think ichat's just for mac...but AIM's the messenger used in ichat. www.aim.com

MSN Messenger.. Just wish it had an offline message feature like in Yahoo messenger though.. then it would be ideal...

Talkin of instant messaging. My work has done somehting so we can't use messenger anymore. I use MSN messenger. What the problem is that i need to go to Options and then Connections and then select "I use a proxy server". I know what the other settings shud be in there - but i dont know what the Realm is. And i can't ask the admin dude, cos he'll grass on me and get me into trouble.
Anyone know how i can figure this out? I'm wasting valuable procrastination time!

I use Trillian for PC.. It has AIM, ICQ, MSN, Yahoo, IRC, & some handy plugins.. And its skins and lack of advertisements beat using AIM.

I'm not much of a chatter, but when the need arrises I use Fire on the Mac and Miranda-IM on the PC. Each program is cool in that it uses optional modules to connect to each service so I don't have to bother with more than one app at a time. I recommend both.

None of them. I had AIM, ICQ and hanged out at some friends' IRC channels. Ended up fed up of 'em all. That was about two years ago. Since then, my only ways of digital communication are e-mail and boards. Enough.
