Batch Proceses in PS

Cud someone talk me through batch processing 50files to do the same thing to each one please - or will i have to read through the help?

ok. but quick question. Can i open a jpeg, save it as a gif, then do shit to that gif, then save and close - can i do all that in actions? Cos technically i'm working with two different files - the original jpg, then the gif i turn it into - possible??

totally possible. play around with it (just keep a backup of your original files).

OK. I'm using the magic wand tool to select only a portion of the image. But in the actions its doing "Set Selection - All". But i dont want it to be all. Anyone know what i'm doing wrong?

as far as i know, you can't record wand selections as an action. what are you trying to do with your actions?

Well i got a set of animations as jpgs. and i wanna make it into transparent gifs in certain parts. and i wanna change colour tint on them aswell. But i think it'll be easier if i just used After effects and fucked around with one AVI rather than lots of little jpgs in photoshop.

maybe image ready would be best. either way, that sounds out of the realm of ordinary ps actions.
