antialias images in psp

hey folks just wondering if anyone hava a nifty tip for antialias images... i wanna antialias this shape that i made and it has roughed up edges.. anyone?

hmm... you can try to limit the amount of colours. posterizing or mosaic the image. or use threshold but than you get black and white only. or work straight up in a gif. various ways. depends on what you have or want to antialias.

.. you want it rough? or DON'T want it rough?
Personally... I love it rough - but I'm not telling you what IT is.

oooowkee! i reread it and now i understand. i thought he wanted to antialias antialiased images thus having aliased images. not enough coffee today. anyways, just the edges? just use gaussian blur. but not on the entire image but over the edges only.

well you would have to 'alias' an antialiased image to make it 'aliased' (Is that even the right term? or possible?)

actually the whole word 'antialias' is non-intuitive... why don't they say 'edge-smoothing'?
