why always the 10 year rememberance or even the yearly rememberance?
what about the 7 years, 2 months and 3 days rememberance, it has feelings too you know
point being peeps feel sadder because they're reminded, not because they're reminded it was 10 years ago, unless your realizing your an old fart now, in which case you're feeling sad about something else all together
besides everyone should be celebrating - it's been 5 years, 4 months and 12 days since Newstoday was born - it's a special day!

I didn't even know who the guy until aages after he shot himself. Then when i was 17 i bought Nevermind just outta curiosity. It was a cool album. I felt like i missed out on the whole grunge thing. All those years spent listening to my big brothers Tupac and Biggie albums.... on reflection, no regrets.

Not to continue this silly thread...but you're all wrong: he killed himself on April 5th (give or take 24 hours) and his body was discovered (and therefore, the news broke on the school bus) on April 8th -- 10 years ago tomorrow.
