Posted this in the PBS but would love to get some feedback/crits about my work as I have never really shown it outside of job interviews.
Thanks for your time.

I like it.....nice.

Thanks guys, the site itself is very basic...much like my web design skills.
Its really just to showcase the individual work within it.

youve done some solid work. i'd hire you if i had work to give.

i am still going through your work, and i like very much....simple=good
nice work mang

your work is nice. i understand that you want to keep it simple but the design elements you chose dont really mesh. There is this scripty/wall paper language going on, but then there are these wintery photos...
my advice would be to either add more unified design elements or to strip the site down and make it really minimal.
good going!

Awesome work, it really speaks for itself. My eyes are a little sore from all the pixel-small type going on.... Good job though.

Are those vector renderings of some of your packaging pieces? If so, I'd include an illustration section, because they are tops.
Simple site, easy to navigate. Great work in general.

I'd have to agree with andre. There is a sense of a design clash. But then i dont like bare minimal websites. Feel too emotionless. I like ur faded wallpaper thing, and i like the layout of it too. The textured grey background on all ur portfolio stuff i'm not too sure about tho. Anyway, some very strong. I'm envious :)

I think it is pretty much dead on. I like that you focused more on displaying your incredibly vast portfolio than worrying about making a really crazy site.

thought i would bump this once.

I love it, although I'm not diggin' on the gradient transfer from solid color to patterned back ground. I think it should be one or the other, or a clean break. Very nice though.

great portfolio.
well done

agree with andre.. i'd lose the wintery shots... they are inconsistent with the style you've chosen to run with..
also.. for your Victorian print on the right, i'd try to seperate it with a line and a slight gradient, giving it that beveled effect.. probably the cleanest way to fade it in (as i think a clean break would be a little distracting)
also, the pixel font you've chosen.. maybe use upper and lowecase.. as all caps is hard to read.. (in the portfolio section).. and i might try the same for your nav up top (and even the header as well)
and lastly.. your leading is inconsistent throughout the site.. (compare the 'about' section to )

Great work and the simple/easy to use website compliments it well.

nick: do you have an example of the beveled effect you speak of?...thanks for the crit...very good points you've brought to my attention.

Nick, I like what he has going on with that gradient personally.... its fresh and unexpected... I've seen that lifted/beveled look going on a lot lately.... just dunno if he wants to be so cookie cutter about it... or maybe he does, his work overwhelms any complaints, imho.
