I want to use my roomates Minidisc player with my Mac. Is it possible to transfer music to a sony minidisc player with a Powerbook?

you'll need a usb thingamajig, they sell them on sony and they aint cheap. also sonys software for transfering is kinda sucky, maybe theres a third party thing out there

nope, but you can use net xmd to name the tracks via USB..
no way of transferring music via your mac. i had one, have now passed it on to the missus.

the only way would be to connect a 1/8" to it from the mac's headphone jack. 1x recording!

yup or the optical out at the back of the g5..
