thx blackspade...
I made all the changes on the crit so far...
is there anything else anyone recommends...
what about promoting it on other sites to generate traffic, what are the best sites to do so...

Maybe wanna fix the compression level on the text pics and top left logo. They seem really blurry and over worked.
Great work though.

If you're looking for a job, don't under estimate how important it is to put your contact info on there nice and clear. Sometimes an email addy just isn't enough.
List your ph. no. Even if you get some prank calls or weirdo's phoneing you, it's worth it if one of them is the art director of a company.

Beyond posting your website on Newstoday, are you contacting potential employers or are you just gunning on traffic to get people to you?
- necro0
I am going to do both. I am going to try to get on linkdup, dik and other design portals...but I have a list of companies I hope to land interviews with. Some that have shown interest in the past I am going to email once I finish getting the crits and polish the site up. thx for the logo crit, it looks good on my monitor but I am going to check on a PC tomorrow. keep the crits coming ...

Hey necro.
I love the site, looks fine to me on OS9.0 IE4.
To promote yourself further, try submitting screenshots/images to design magazine that run 'featured artist' or 'exposure' pieces. Here in the uk, both Computer Arts ( http://www.computerarts.co.uk/ ) and Digit Magazine ( http://www.digitmag.co.uk ) have regular 2 - 5 page sections devoted to giving artists and creatives exposure - there must be equivilant publications in the USA?
Best of luck to you mate!

yeah its nice, I'd agree with the 'scroll right' buttons should point right - it took me 3 pieces of work to realise that there was more (though that might be me being overtired!)
not that keen on the graf 'enter' but again thats proobably me.
and lose some of the compression on your titles - you should be able to get the crisp without them ending up huge...
the works good though - sure you'll be fine mate!

looks pretty good...in safari the work pop-ups scroll vertically a bit...and how about adding some next / prev buttons in those work pop-ups, they can just be anchor links...sidescrolling is just a bit wierd to me usability-wise...i also agree about removing the mediatemple link unless they sponsor you...great work tho...good luck in your job search

i really like your work, IMHO it is stronger than the minisite design..but the flash version looks pretty cool...though i am most impressed be her...:
