Hey Mr Jump, some corrections here. The normal age for drinking out is 18 in sweden - some places have 20 -> to get the older crowd. As far as the club scene - there are good clubs, you just have to find them - there's a police squad in Sweden called "The Rave commision" - they are undercover and are traveling around to the clubs and are trying to find drugs and then shut down the places.. it's really weird...

yeah i know it's 18 drinkin age. I was just suprised how control everything was - even the grafitti. I have a swedish friend and she told me that there are really good clubs to go to, but u really gotta know the scene. Well, we went looking, and didn't turn up much. And everything was closed all the time. Wanna go drinkin on a weekday? Forget about it... Still, lovely place and lovely people - no offence to any swedes

Gee, where did you look for clubs in Stockholm? There are hundreds of decent ones!!
Actually it's not so much how old you are when you wanna go out, they're extremely shallow and judge you based on how you look, what you wear and who you're with.
Not so much of a club person myself though, I prefer pubs (mostly british and irish ones actually)

Maybe I should just stop replying to threads. Every time I do they die.

we went everywhere man. We even had the timeout guide to stockholm. Nada. Highlight of the trip - some lame bar made all out of ice. It sounded cool. But was sooo lame. Lots of Japanese biznessmen tho - they were funny.

Yea, El Pistollero. I think it's means like cowboy duel or something in spanish. how 'bout your self. Pimp'n around here in the area as well?

Ease off it was only a friendly. So the Swedes won. At least we all got to see the new England Away Kits. The St. George crosses on the shulders are the bees knees. Now Arsenal vs. Manchester United this Saturday in the FA cup Semi. Now that's a match worth watching.

That's cool! Nah, I'm stuck here in cold Stocktown but iI'll probably go with the crowd and move abroad as soon as I find a way to get citizenship that doesn't involve getting married.
