Hi all,
I've noticed that when if I'm running a swf in Safari and I click out of the window, the animation gets REALLY choppy until I click back into it.
Is this my computer only? Or is this an all-encompassing issue with Safari and Flash?
Does anyone else even think this is an issue...?

welcome to the mac. try it in IE. not much better huh.
apparently this is due to the way the plugin processes the code on the mac. it's way better on the pc, and it pisses me off. :/

its even simpler than that. . . its the way threading on a mac works, highest priority is whats on top.
unfocused window = lower priority

yeah, this is true for unfocused windows . . but i was kinda referring to overall performace.
just makes me cringe. wonder if it will ever be on par with windows.

actually, it does work much better on IE.
popup windows are a big bitch though.
(let's not get into why i'm using popups. i promise its for the good of mankind. really.)
