Does anyone know if it is possable to knock out power for an entire block? Something like they did in "Ocean's eleven". Any suggestions on how to do it? I am dead serious.

you'd be better off physically cutting the power lines. You could spend a lifetime trying to build a real pinch, and it probably wouldn't be effective by the time you finished it.

Well, here is the deal. I am helping out with this production. They are planing a prank for tomorrow night and it involves knocking out power to an entire night club. Still no thoughts on how to do it. Especially since no one can no whats going on. I need some suggestions. No electricans are willing to assist.
