Saw them about a month ago at Maxwell's in Hoboken NJ.
One of the best shows I'v ever seen. They were great... and loud. If they come around to your area go, go ,go.

Hey, I just picked up that album this past weekend. I had heard about them for a while but figured like most other things NME has talked up lately it was not going to be that good.
Damn was I wrong.
There's something excellent about that album and I don't know what it is. totally kicks ass.Today I had this thought: "I wish this is what The Strokes second album would have been."
don't know why, I could care less about the strokes but that would have been pretty cool if it would have been their album.anyhow, great songs, great artwork, super cool.

best band of 2004 - hrmmm debatable seeing as we are only a few months into 2004 and who knows what other crap bands will get record companies money pumped into them to MAKE them more famous than their music.
il admit to having BOUGHT their album after falling victim to the hype. i listened to liek 3 of the songs then switched it off and havend listened to it since.
very uninspired.
