curious what non-design related books people might recommend ...
after reading a couple this year like "guns, germs, and steel", and "natural capitalism", i think i am
leaning more towards some
post-modern stuff - like Moody, Boyle, Volhman, etc. - where maybe i can kind of relate with the characters a bit, but i'm open to anything

Oh, and I forgot, for good times I've been reading Max Brooks' "Zombie Survival Guide" which is pretty intuitive and I'm confident it will help when the zombie holocaust begins ;)

I read Atlas Shrugged first, which i felt was more powerful.. but i enjoyed The Fountainhead more.
i strongly recommend both of these books!

I would recommend anything by Lovecraft, especially At The Mountains of Madness. And the Hollywood Babylon books by Kenneth Anger.
