Hey
i am sick and tired of the money spent on rent and all in NYC. I am a designer, and i am married. Where can we go where there is culture, job opportunities and where money is not wasted? can be anywhere, i just need to hear ideas and feedback.

If you can get a job in Seattle or portland, they are decently priced.
Colorado has good job openings from time to time.

How bout Vancouver? We're a chill people and there is tonnes of design work (I got a full time studio job after 4 days of lookin).
Good ridin', a good mix of people, pretty mountains, and way better weather than NYC. :D

Baltimore is cool. Lot's of design jobs, inexpensive, water nearby, nice places to live and raise a family. I'm moving back after living in DC for a year. Traffic sucks in the district.

Whatever you do - dont come to LA. We have enough people here. Even the janitor jobs have a waiting list.
