Hi. This is my first stab at a portfolio site. Please comment on whatever strikes your fancy, or non-fancy for that matter (I'd rather hear more improvements actually). It will take a minute to load on slower connections (I'm working on that). Cheers, and thanks a lot.

Nice. I would make the diagonal lines connect between the swf and the bg. And it takes a long time to load on my cable connection. Nice work though.

Load each piece individually as opposed to how you have it now, loading all the work at the start. Loaded slow on my dsl. Some people on 56k may not even see that loadbar move and just close the window.

yeah make the lines line up, that's easy enough just make your stage invisible. ah ha that shold save you some time. and the photo you got there, use on of your own, or put something you made there instead. and you'll be flowing like gravey in know time.... and yeah hella slow. (rock'n the cable)

id have the pages near the sub menu cos its annoying having to move the cursor up and down the page...and maybe consider using a pixel font to shapern up the text like so http://www.twelveten.com/

LOADTIME..... OUCH.
i'm happy with the layout... easy to navigate... but work on the font... too antialiased.

you lost me on the load.
And I'm on 100mbps fiber.Split things up into smaller loads, but more importantly, get something on the page instantly, even some text that says what is loading, or welcome or whatever.
And change your ISP.!

ya, font way too antialiased, kinda hard to read, also my personal opinion some other Grotesque font would have worked better maybe. Background rules the world though, and colours, loading time no prob, but i'm on uber connection i think.

you have to make this thing smaller on intial load. in the portfolio section, the 'don mills tag' page doesn't look all that great the black does not come across for the sub-title, try sharpening it.

thanks a lot everyone. load time is something i'm definately going to work on.
btw all content is my own (pictures included) :P
and server is university so "free", so one day i'll get a paid one.cheers

awe my ba it just looks alot like one I saw a couple of years ago, don't know where I saw it though
