Did anyone see that documentary on BBC 1 last night on Top Uk surgeons.
God dam Tv program did my head-in, but it was amazing too watch.
This man was diagnosed with a brain tumour. The next thing you now the surgeon has this man on the operating table and is taking part of his brain out.
But that not all.
The surgain has a new radical procedure which involves keeping the patient awake why he in doing the brain surgery. On top of all this, he then ask the patent if he would like too see his own "Brain" as not many people get this appointee.
Freaky. But great TV.

i read something a while back about a couple of artists in the UK who actually performed the tranpanation procedure on themselves while under the influence of mescaline or acid.
They failed a couple times - miserably and ended up in the hospital. They video taped their procedures and encourage people to do the same.
Anyone ever read about this - or have any links to the story???
